Reproductive health problems remain the leading cause of ill health and death for women of childbearing age worldwide. Despite the substantial improvement in reducing maternal and child mortalities in Bangladesh, a large number of mothers and children die each year due to preventable causes, as high maternal and child mortality and morbidity still remain serious concerns in the country. The wellbeing of mothers, adolescents, infants and young children is of central importance to the health of the nation. Improvement in the health of women throughout childbearing and of infants and young children is a global as well as our national healthcare priority. Apprehending the magnitude of burden of reproductive and child health problems, we are dedicated to improving the health of women, adolescents, children and families- locally, nationally, regionally and globally.
