Shirin Jahan Mumu awarded international scholarship

Shirin Jahan Mumu, Assistant Professor, Dept of Epidemiology, Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS)) has received PhD Scholarship under the USAID’s Next Generation of Public Health Experts Project (NGPHEP) implemented by the James P. Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH), BRAC Institute of Global Health (BIGH), BRAC University. She will be registered in the Dept of Health of Science, University of Western Sydney, Australia under the supervision of Assoc Prof Dafna Merom & Prof Liaquat Ali and the title of her thesis (through a sandwich study) will be ‘Effect of rural to urban migration on risk factors of cardiovascular diseases in Bangladesh’.
