Orbis International Symposium on ‘Eye Care For All’ held on the Occasion of 6TH Regional Public Health Conference

The Symposium was held on 20 December 2015 (Sunday) during 12.00 -13.00 hr at the Ibrahim Auditorium of BUHS. It was chaired by Prof AHM Enayet Hussain and the co-chair of the Symposium was Dr Munir Ahmed. The following presentations were delivered in the Meeting which was attended by around 300 clinicians, researchers, and health care activists involved in eyecare programs:

The Speakers discussed about various aspects of the problems and prospects related to eyecare programs in Bangladesh and it was followed by a lively discussion and question-answer session. The Chair of the Symposium finally summarized the presentations and responded to some of the issues raised in the discussion. He then thanked the speakers and the audience and concluded the meeting.
